schedule of the presence iMac 21.5-inch
on the market. Here's it going?
The
new iMac will be a product all-in-one the first Apple
computer that no longer use the optical drive. It is intended to facilitate the
design of super slim thickness of only 5mm.
With
the new iMac's thinness, a claimed success reduces reflections off the screen
by 75% and provides graphics performance 60% faster.
When
Apple announced by the Vice President for Global Sales Phil Schiller at the
Apple event held in Silicon Valley, California, USA, on October 22, 2012, this
new iMac comes in two versions mentioned, that is 21.5 inches and 27 inches.
Latest generation iMac 21.5-inch
is scheduled to be available in the Apple Store and authorized reseller’s shops
starting on Friday (30/11). As for the
latest version iMac 27-inch, Apple will begin sending on December 2012. As
reported by BGR.
According
to Schiller that time, a new generation of iMac is using Fusion Drive, a hybrid
between an SSD and HDD to optimize the data rate of speed when reading or
writing a new data.
With
this system, the SSD will serve for a platform for the OS and the applications
that are used, while the HDD will serve as a container for the user's personal
documents.
This
iMac 21.5-inch will be sold starting U.S. $ 1,299, the specifications include
an Intel Core i5 2.7 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GT640M, 8GB of RAM and 1TB of HDD.
Meanwhile,
for the iMac 27-inch version will be sold starting at U.S. $ 1,799, and the
specifications include an Intel Core i5 2.9 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 660M GTA, 8GB
of RAM, 1TB of HDD as well.
